Ive been killing the cats at kiser lake. Ive been going there since the begining of april. They have been between 3-12lbs. Ive been getting them from all over the lake in different depths but only on cut shad.

Its on St Rt 235, bout 20 min north of New Carlisle. Champaine Co./St. Paris area.

 

bigcatfisher - I guess it depends on what you like to fish for - The crappie are really starting to come on in about every lake. If you are fishing from shore it might be tough right now on most lakes because of all the high water. If you have a boat you would be better off. My son is 5 and I have been taking him out just about every time I go - He absolutly loves it on the water.

 

Yea just loves to catch em...we always throw em back. I'm more into the big cats myself. Is fish the rivers but never fished any and wouldn't knw where to start.
