Way to go fishon 667. I've been dying to get back up to Conny from Cincinnati to perch fish again. I've read lately about the low water level. I launch at the Harbor. How is the water level for launching? Your advice is appreciated. Thank you.

 

Use the far west ramp and you'll be OK. The far east by the wall and the angle ramp at the wall is closed off.

 

West ramp is where I destroyed my prop at the complete end of the dock. Keep ur outdrive way up. You would think all the $$$ they make there they could atleast dredge it out.

 

Still going out on west just raise prop and take it slow. Even when you straighten up to go out the channel there is some 1 foot spots first couple hundred yards. Buddy went up the 17th with three guys and went out. Had a 4 man limit by 10:00.

 

I appreciate the help from all. Thank you. I've been reading a lot of the posts for the last several months and love the help everyone gives each other. I'm puzzled how I fished at Conny mid August and mid Sept and how the water level has gone down so quickly. It seems for the entire lake. I see reports for all the cities with the low water level. At first I thought it was just temporary with the wind direction at a specific area and the level would come back. Has all the cities drawing water from the lake made that big a difference??? Drought this past year??

 

Pretty much a non existant winter with very little snow, a hot dry spring, and the normal water evaporation from summer.

 

If we don't get much snow this winter or rain in the spring it could stay bad. As this droughts really been going on for several years now. Not bad but consistently worse every year. Most ohio waterways are at a real low mark. Sure hope we can get some H2O in the ground.
