Just wondering if people were still catching some perch out of Cleveland. I am heading up this weekend and I am trying to decide where to go.

Thanks!

If the weather stabilizes we should see good catches wed and beyond. Usually takes a couple days for things to settle and the schools to get back to feeding. Tis perch season!

Have been having good luck out of the Rocky River around 40 foot. Have not been out since this weekend's weather. Taking a buddy's dad tommorow who just had cataract surgery. Hopefully he can enyoy a few jumbo's. Most I have been keeping around 9 to 10inch.

Was up on Sunday. North side of the crib only 5o yrds away from it in 47' water. We brought home 50 keepers, thru about 40-50 back. Had some quality ones too. Most of the bigger fish came on a 1/2oz jigging spoon. Rest were caught on spreaders. I am heading back up again on Sat. to grab some more....they are tasty!

Caught about 50 today with my friends father, did not put my fish finder in, my guess we were in about 40 to 42 feet off the Rocky River. Size was nice, but not many jumbo. Did see some eggs starting in the females that were filleted.

Southern cross were you one of the two or three boats by the can? Tried a little shallower with a boat full of little ones tonight and only had about 10 keepers but some nice ones. Couldn't seem to get into them tonight but again had 3- 4 yr old girls onboard as well.

Chromesteelhead took me perchin thurs. We dropped anchor 1/4 mile ne of crib 49-50 fow. Chrome was on 'em fast with 4 back to back sheephead.....I could only manage 2. 70 minutes into it we had three perch and were ready to move.

Then it started. 60 nice perch by noon. A handful under 9"... half in the 10-13 range. Chrome turned into the perch ninja with many doubles ...both 10+.

We had one nice eye hit...got a look at 'em before his teeth helped set 'em free.

As the water cools it will keep getting better. Good luck...be safe out there.

Picked the spoon up at the new Fin Feather an Fur @ belden village. It's similar to a hopkins spoon. Can't remember the manufacturer but they come in a two pack. Color was called coleslaw. Mostly white body with some green and a little orange mixed in. I believe I paid close to 6 bucks for the two pack.

The "gold coast" is 1.5-2 miles west of the Edgewater ramps. It's
the first tall buildings you will see from the water going west from Edgewater.

Good luck....be safe out there.
