I was just wondering what everyone thinks of the line up of colors he is offering right now.I myself would like to see lemon pearl, pink antifreeze, and green pumpkin brought back.is there any colors that some of you would like to see.And i am also wondering when the release date for the J five will be.

I agree the lemon pearl and green pumkin should be a standard !! never tryed the pink.
Its great he makes these difrent colors but PLEASE have a standard line

Glad you guys like the baits. Please understand im not messing with my color lineup for fun. This is my living and there is a good reason for everything I do. Spring is the busy time for any lure company and even more so for one such as ours that is small and very busy. If i cut out a color it was either because it sold very poorly or im planning on tweaking it or combining it with another similar color so that i can streamline and keep up with everything. Unfortunately what I have in mind color wise is on the back burner while the spring rush continues.

Made J5's all day and I am about to make more right now so they will be up soon, a week at the most.
Thanks, now its time for a thread about flickershads or something right?!! LOL

Stock up in the winter guys; Josh is getting hammered right now. I got my first bronze of the year and two PB's on Slim's bait. It's my number one confidence bait of 2015, so far...

 This aint Burger King. You can't have it your way.:D We all know his swims are top of the line products. Just like they should be and super reasonable prices.
When you find something that works for you stock up on them. I stocked up on salt & pepper and glad I did. One lake we fish the crappies and eyes just love them.. Whats a flicker shad?????

Slim I'd be more than happy to help someone that shares as much info as you do. And then there are other people that never have a helpful post and just like to be negative all the time that I wouldn't sale a spare pack to for any amount of money.

I know this is not burger king.but maybe some of us don't have a boat loadof cash to buy a ton of swimbaits at one time.I just think he should keep more in stock and quit playing with the color line up.if he can't keep up with the demand then hire some help.

And by the way a flicker shad is a crankbait made by Berkley.it resembles a rapala shad rap.but it is made out of plastic instead of balsa and is cheaper.I thought every true saugeye fisherman knew what one was

Hmmm my favorite rogue inferno tiger caught more eyes on it then any other. Guess what not making it anymore did not sell good enough. I asked if might come back in future was told something like it might show up. So if big time companies see the reason to do this I guess smaller one man operations have the right to decide as well. Might not be are davorite, thing but we have to adjust when it happens.

True but the inferno tiger was part of the limited rouge series.which means for a limited amount of time.the lemon pearl, pink antifreeze and green pumpkin were not a limited edition series joshy. They are even on the color chart you get with you're order

Just got back from canada and the only search bait that would work were swimbaits for the walleye. I had some of the old sun rise color which is my favorite all time Joshy. I also caught pike on the larger size green color Troy talked me into at the expo. Once we located them we just hammered the walleye on live minnows. 80-100 a day between my buddy and I. We tried cranks to locate them first, no dice. Best pike 39.5 inches 17 ponds, best walleye 27" 6.5 pounds

The age old supply and demand theory. Sounds like Big Joshy's doing alright!!!

If I had to guess, losing a customer over a color that's out of stock is worth the price of not having a truck load of something setting around that's not selling. Just my two cents.

So you're telling me that lemon pearl ,green pumpkin ,and pink antifreeze did not sell.huh them three were very good to me for me.I just had no clue they were going to be discontinued.so the moral of the story is f you like a certain color of a big joshy you better go bankrupt and buy a boat load because you never know if they will be discontinued.

Wow seriously? Show some respect for another human being man. And calm down. We're literally discussing the color of a swim bait right now. Is it your money invested in the business? Last I checked I don't think it's a publicly traded company and you obviously aren't invested. Why don't you start your own business and take care of the supply and demand problem that you believe is so prevalent.

On the other hand I got my shipment today. Lol
Thanks Josh!

actually lundy no i have not .but i am not claiming to be a expert either.but in my honest opinion i believe that those colors did sell.i think he just could not keep up.i also believe that this is a very profitable company so why not hire some help to keep up with the demand.

My opinion... I think... I believe...

Feel free to throw some facts in anytime. Otherwise it sounds like you have no idea what you're talking about....

I think this thread has let him whine enough. Get over it and go fish somewhere and chill out. Ridiculous. How about those Flicker shad colors Wow they just keep making more colors Great bait:)

I'm not offended at all. I have plenty of the colors I like to use.

It's pretty simple man. He stopped making them for a reason that made sense to him. This is his business and I seriously doubt he makes any decision without putting a lot thought into it. It may not make sense to you but it doesn't have to.

Oh, I just got some new flicker shads that I can't wait to get out and try this weekend.

I actually work for a business that deals with prototyping and small production. We do silicon molds as well as aluminum molds. We do several similar things with soft plastics. It's tough stuff to master and to keep consistent especially when you start messing with dyes and different cycle times. Keep up the good work Josh. I fully understand your hard work!!
