Taking the day off tomorrow and hoping to bag some walleyes for a fish fry for my dad's 87th birthday. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just got off the lake after fishing all morning. Water clarity is still bad in Cleveland but they are everywhere (at least on the fish finder)- East of the 72nd ramp point is FULL OF GARBAGE/PLASTIC EVERYWHERE IN THE WATER- its pretty sad how wasteful we are : (. We have been snagging more then properly hooking. If bite is slow, try slowing down and using some pause and go technique. Also and try some clear "ghost" cranks if fishing at night. Hope it helps!

Not quite a CLE report but we fished fairport this morning from 5:30am until 10:30am without a bite! Started early in real tight to shore and eventually ended up in 40’. Threw everything but the kitchen sink at them but no takers.
Great marks in 25’ - 28’ a couple miles east of the harbor and tons of bait. I think that nasty east wind out there today gave em lock jaw.
Talked to 4 other boats today and one of them had 2 small eyes, that’s it.

Launched this morning out of Edgewater. Fished all day, mostly 24-40. Tons of marks, especially around the mouth of the Cuyahoga river. Caught one Steely, 22.5”, 7 lbs. - beautiful fish.

Got off around 2 pm.

Ran 4 rods, bandits, spoons, dearies, rapalas. 2 on dipseys, 2 on down riggers. Tried diff speeds 1.5-3.0. Tried casting, jigging. Tried stop and go. Everything ive read on these forums, or tried on my own.

1 fish, 6 hours of fishing - still better than a great day at the office.

Putting the boat away for the season.
Decent season.

Went out of Gordon Park from 3:00 to 6:00 tonight. Went northeast looking for marks in deeper water, but it was barren. Finally found great marks in 25-35 fow along the breakwall, but could not get them to go. Not a single hit. Tried Huskys, P10s, Flicker minnow, spoons. 1.5 to 2.5 mph. Nothing worked. Talked to one guy who caught two eaters out in 60 fow. Tough day. Not many boats out this afternoon.

Trolled from 6-930pm Thursday out of Edgewater. Lots of marks in front of Cuyahoga River, and we got our 1 fish there. Went casting at Edgewater tonight from 7-9ish and got 3 nice size fish from the breakwall, and lost another. Go figure...every night is different out there though. I’m just hoping we can finally get some stable weather, come November.
