I am curious if anyone has fished Beaver Creek Reservoir in Clyde. I was reading about it on the DNR site and seems like a good fishery. Anybody have any info or success stories?

Right by my house fish it quite a bit open water season. Catch some nice bass with fair numbers. Walleye for me is sporadic good days and bad days. Crappie are numerous but I never seem to catch any keeper sized ones but I don't target them. I have fished it hardwater season and never did real well but I know others do. There was a shanty up there yesterday near boat ramp. Good luck if you try it out.
They pump in in southwest corner that would be only area of concern in my book. Take a spud and use it!! I feel that way about all ice fishing no matter where u are at.
Fished from 1-5 today and never marked any fish. Drilled probably 20 holes. Is there any structure in this reservoir? Should have gone to to a different reservoir I guess.
Never found much for structure. But there are quite a few dropoffs. I usually fish the edge of these dropoffs or the 12-14foot basin on the south side. When im on the edge of a dropoff im usually in deep water. 30-34fow. And i never fish the bottom. Most fish i catch are 6ft off the bottom. Couple years ago we were catching crappie and walleye along the dropoffs. Small jiggin raps and pimples. Crappie werent big but the eyes were 17-21inches.
