I'm heading up for the weekend with my dad and boys...staying at Fenwick. I know Sat. is calling for rain but we have rain suits.:D We will primarily be trolling. Just wondering if there are any reports of fish being caught around the reefs or anywhere out of Turtle Creek. Just looking for a little help before hand. Last time up was during the jig bite and we did good trolling north of B and C can. I'm not afraid to make a long run to the islands but if I'm gonna fish the islands/kellys area I'll prob. just trailer down there. Thanks in advance.

keep an eye on the satelite photos. The maumee river is spewing mud into the lake right now. There are walleye all over the western basin right now in all the normal areas, so the bigger question is where can you find water clean enough to catch them.

The rain coming tomorrow and Saturday won't have much affect on the muddiness of the lake this weekend. I am hoping that the south winds will help push the mud futher out. Just have to keep an eye on the satellite photos and go from there. the lake is going to be nice and calm this weekend so it's definitely fishable. You may just have to work harder in the mud.

I can tell you my fish clean never got a single fish to clean yesterday . All the rivers are running high and muddy . I cant'say I've seen so much mud this late in the year . With more rain on the way I don't see it cleaning up any time soon .
Buckeye or Alum sounds like the place to go from what I'm reading
