Spencer lake is off of rt 162 crappie largemouth and channel cat also small to average gills its a decent little spot two lakes connected by a little tunnel it's 40 acres

new london is a good place to go...good smallmouth and eye fishin

 

Go to Spencer lake wildlife area and fish the Black River or you can fish the river in Lodi right acoross the hospital, good smallie territory. The boy scouts park is right in between the 2 spots and there is amazing fishing in there. But you cannot fish that unless you have a park ranger with you. So I suggest you hit the park or the spencer lake wildlife area. All my pics of smallies have come from my spot North of The boy scouts park.

 

Thanks for the suggestions. I found out a friends, brother has a cabin at chippewa lake witch is about 5 minutes from where Ill be. I may give that a shot. Anyone fish there?

My buddies fish that everyday in the summer. Good big channels, crappie and largemouths. My fire chief used to catch pike there in the fall in the inlet so give that a try!
