Good to hear from you Seth! I'm down to a little jon boat with electric motor or waders! Looking for some crappie news. This weekend is my last chance before deer season starts in KY. My fishing buddy wants to go to the S. fork of the Licking river but I'm open for any place where my little boat won't get swamped.

 

acton lake is doing good on crappie

 

i havent caught a crappie in years but i hear that the Caesar Creek crappie bite has been decent if you can fish deep. seeing as how you have a boat i would say you wouldn't have any problems.

 

Let us know how you do; I would guess that Cowan looks like chocolate milk right now with all the rain.

 

Acton water level ok to launch a boat? (Sorry about the all caps on my name..can't find out how to change it to lower case)

 

I dont we have had enough rain to launch at Acton but if you have a trolling motor and a flatbottom, youll be fine for sure , once you get around the corner to about halfway past the marina, youll be in 3 ft of water so you can use your kicker then.

I think they call my boat a semi V hull...Acton is the closest lake to me but I guess I need to go elsewhere or fish from shore. Due to things beyond my control I have fished very little this year. Does anyone out there know how I can edit my username/change it from all caps to lower case? Sorry, I speak broken geek.

 

idk there but I've caught crappy all fall here in central Ohio.. :-/

Not wanting to know the location but how did you guys do. I thought I saw an ad posted on craigslist that looked to be like your pro team.
