Alum Creek Lake tips?

hey all. just went out to alum creek lake and fished off the shore for about 4 hours. didnt have much luck. i stuck to the east side close to cheshire road. i plan on going back while im on spring break. if anyone could give me some tips that would be great! i'm new around here and i used a chatter bait and some jigs and plastics. thanks for the help.

patterson i fish alum alot and with shore fishing i wld try around the 36&37 Bridge either that or keep goin north from the bridge and norht the water is warmer i wld also give a couple coves a shot i like the first one on the right past CheshireMarket it pretty good for crappie and bass this time of year Ill be up there sunday Good luck and tight lines^_^!

im not to familiar with the northern end but if ur lookin to just park and fish the BelowTheDamRecreationArea wld be a great place to start either that or under the 36and37bridge u have to walk a lil bit thought nothin big when u turn on 36and 37goin tward the lake there will be a pull of on either side depending on which way your coming from `thats it ive caught perch flattys eyes and muskies outta there the muskies were small though it a great spot might not be able to though depending on how low the lake is
