If your stuck fishing from shore you might want to try further up the lake. Water is quite a bit warmer up there right now. More likely to find shallow, actively feeding fish. Lots of shad up there now and fish are feeding on them.

 

patterson i fish alum alot and with shore fishing i wld try around the 36&37 Bridge either that or keep goin north from the bridge and norht the water is warmer i wld also give a couple coves a shot i like the first one on the right past CheshireMarket it pretty good for crappie and bass this time of year Ill be up there sunday Good luck and tight lines^_^!

thanks a lot. i'm gonna try to get back up there after i get back from seattle. is it easy to just park and fish around the northern parts? if so could i get some directions?

 

im not to familiar with the northern end but if ur lookin to just park and fish the BelowTheDamRecreationArea wld be a great place to start either that or under the 36and37bridge u have to walk a lil bit thought nothin big when u turn on 36and 37goin tward the lake there will be a pull of on either side depending on which way your coming from `thats it ive caught perch flattys eyes and muskies outta there the muskies were small though it a great spot might not be able to though depending on how low the lake is

Hey try north of the 36/37 bridge. If you take N Old State Rd and turn Right onto Howard Rd. if you go below that bridge you will kill some crappies for real.


If you walk about half mile north of that try for some cats.
