There are smallies and saugeye to be caught in all sizeable central Ohio streams. Give it a try.

 

Try Howard Rd. Area for crappies and Cats, you can try anything along Old State for Bass and whatever, below dam for muskies

 

Went out today and got 18 keepers. Just go to the 36/37 pull off and start walking till you find some nice tree structure. Would try minnow under bobber and tubes tipped with minnow that was the ticket today. Good luck

 

You talking about that pull off just west of the bridge (opposite of the cliffs) ?

 

Yep thats the place. Was on south side just found a nice tree in water and started pulling crappie out almost immediately.

 

nice i think i know what you are talking about, were you kind of sitting on the ledge about four to six feet above the water?

No offense Delaware and Jake, but Alum Creek is not always synonymous with Alum Creek Reservoir. He was asking about an area 20+ miles downstream.

 

Not Alum Creek but it is part of the three creeks area.

Fished Big Walnut where Winchester Pike crosses over the creek and caught 2 large mouths and a crappie. All right before dark. You can travel either way on the creek and there are several holes to fish.
