I used to go out every opener. Gave me a reason to get in the woods and scout for deer as well. Need to get back to doing that.

Getting my 9 year old daughter out for the first time this season. She got a really nice combo Rossi .410/ .22 that she can change the barrel over. Single shot, breach load.

 

Not on opening day, everyone is off , I’ll go mid week less people out.

 

Not doing much good yet Opening day not sure how the 2 i shot at didnt drop ? One Fox squirrel i shot at i thought for sure was gunna drop , Well never did was looking around creek bottoms in weeds to see if he actually did, Fell out of the tree into the creek.. Im like ohh good , Then he swims across the creek climbs a log jam to the other side... Guess he deserves to live. The woods i been huntin is loaded with squirrels not giving me many good shots tho. Was out the this morning n woods was dead quiet no squirrels moving at all, Buddy shot a Grey Squirrel tho but that was it, Pretty sure we spooked a Bobcat up into a tree today Couldnt get eyes on it tho, wasnt a deer because woulda seen that taking off n i doubt it was a 50lb squirrel Going up a tree , So guessin was a bobcat.... So no squirrel pics yet so here are some Rocks back in my Public Woods by me Lol
