And cant find it at the normal places(ie Wackerbaits, ACS, ect) then give Pete a shout over at Specialist Tackle LLC in New York for ALL your needs.

Ive been looking for an alterative tackle dealer as im getting tired of stores that only seem to order goods from the UK once maybe twice a year.Once they run out you have to wait til they build up enough orders to make it cost effective to them.
Specialist tackle is GREAT and you can order anything from thier big UK web site through Pete here in the USA and it will arrive at your door in 3-4 days!!
You can pay with credit cards, checks or Money-Orders...all in USD funds.

Ive been in the market for a Brolly for the 2005 season, but as most of you know, the "normal" shops are out(and have been out) for awhile and wont get any in for another 7-8 weeks!!
I contacted Pete and i have a Fox Evo Classic brolly that will arrive at my house next week(and at a hard to beat GREAT PRICE)...THANKS Pete!!!!!

Also if your tired of the same old few brands available to us here....again Pete can get almost any brand...to your door in 3-4 days!!!


This will be my 2nd order with Pete and i have to say, Specialist Tackle is fast becomming my #1 choice for UK Carp tackle here in the USA.

Just to make a clarification that your not pointing out here Scott........

The "OTHER" shops you are referring to do NOT have sister stores in the UK. Specialist in NY get's their merchandise sent to them by Specialist in the UK.....NOT the manufacturers themselves. When you are in the US...and are dealing with Manufacturers directly, the US orders come last...and they are held up with Customs.

Just thought I would point that out.....as the "OTHER" shops you refer to are not fairly being adjusted for in this thread.

I will add to this though.......Specialist is a decent store. I have not heard any complaints from anyone about them. When I was in to purchase, they would not mail order at the time.....but they do now. I have done mail order from them overseas without any problems.

And with talking to a bait/tackle dealer owner at the sports show over the weekend, we will be sitting down to hash out some items of interest over the next few months. Mainly carp tackle / baits that will be sold in central Ohio.

Hey you can back whatever stores you will, im cool with that...im just trying to let other carpers know there ARE other shops out there to get better faster services if they want gear, thats all!
