Hi,
Maybe replacing my bow trolling motor. Usually use the remote, any reason that you can think of to also get the foot peddle?

Thanks!

I use both with mine depending on the situation. Way quicker to make adjustments with a foot pedal. When I have some kids with me or other people that may need more assistance I'll use the remote. Also on electric only lakes where you have to travel far I'll use the remote and just sit back and relax.

When it comes to fishing the pedal is way more convenient

Thanks. Seems as I used my remote more, I never use the pedal. Your right though, faster to make adjustments. Looking at the $300 difference in price between just the remote or one with pedal.

I have the MinnKota Terrova and I purchased the one with both the remote and the foot pedal. In a year of use I have used the remote almost exclusively. It is so easy and I can run everything from the back of the boat where I can also manage the rods for trolling. I keep the foot pedal as a backup in case there is a problem with the remote, but so far there hasn't been.
