I hit it Sunday. Got a late start with Easter and all. I hit one good one 15 minutes into the trip on a swimbait. Then, I missed 2. Then the bite just died. I lost a crappie at the boat an hour later on a jig. Then, tried a bit of trolling, moved spots, tried everything. The moon phase major was at 7:30pm, but I quit around 6:15. Should get better in the next week or so!! Water clarity seemed to be improving, but still dingy on north shore. Water temps were 61-63.

Buckeye Lake Saugeye
Fished today 8-1. 5 largemouth, 8 crappie, 1 saugeye, 2 cats. Big joshy. Main lake temp 64, canals pushing 70.
I just got done fishing and I ended up catching 3 Saugeyes 2 bass and a few cats mixed in using a spoon and using a slow steady retrieve . The lake is a lot more clearer compared to last week.
I went out yesterday afternoon and got 3 Saugeyes and a fairly nice size bass plus a bunch of catfish. I was using a vibe casting it out and just real it back as slow as I can, and still have it vibrate I believe more than anything. It was the color and it was fire tiger.
