New Lowrance

My son and I put a new hook reveal in my boat. Plan is to use it with my elite 5 at the same time. The elite is about 10 years old. Been talking to some friends and they mentioned they could interfere with each other. Anyone try this? The transducers are close.

If you are using both units on the same frequency at the same time they will interfere with each other.

Going to use the older unit for the GPS and depth. The new one for the down and side scan. I don't know. Would that be different frequencies?

Then you will be good. Depth uses 50 to 200 kHz whereas down and side scan use 455 to 800kHz.

I run 2 units, front and rear both on down scan and have mo problems at all.

If both transducers are sxs you’re very lucky!! Your the only person I know that can run 2 units simultaneously with down scan with transducers sxs.

Do it all the time. Run split screen front and rear. Run Side both 3D and reg side on a split screen.. yea it does it. Also FYO.. some units are equipped with Ping Speed adjustments for just that reason.

Ok. May have to move it to where the wheel is. The speed wheel is not connected any more the lowest point. Have to see how it works in the water.
