Anyone know anywhere to get small yellowbelly catfish? I am planning on trying them for flathead bait. Thanks

ps. Would stonelick be a good option?

i've caught some at paintcreek, just up by the little cliff edge down from the campgrounds all if you go all the way down to where it almost ends, thats where i caught them...from what i have experienced in iowa anyway, those little catfish work great for flatlhead

    Thanks for the info guy.

Flathunter, I have not been there for awhile, but I would say it probably is fished out. The last time I went, ( about a month ago) I saw all kinds of dink cats going into peoples coolers and stringers( Flats and channels) Thats the reason I dont like going there anymore thanks to the meathunters. I perfer not to see that stuff going on so I just stopped going there. I did get one small flat last time but I say hes probably in somones freezer by now! I might try there next week but if I do im going way down stream and finding a nice little sucluded spot away from all the crazies!*#@$ This place would be an awsome flathead spot if only they ALL were released!! :(

Kiser is another good lake for yellow bellies. I don't how far away is for you though.
