Ohio has some good public land deer hunting, especially southeastern Ohio. I have taken a 131" 11 pt and a 125" 10 pt off public land in Ohio in the last 5 years. You might look on the ODNR website about some public land areas near you. Also, consider a trip to the Wayne National Forrest as it has tons of bucks. Now, I won't BS about it. We don't have booners behind every tree. However, if you work at it in a lot of areas the public land in Ohio can be as good as most private land. CG
