  1. I agree with Downtown, I think thats the highest I've ever saw it also.
    "The flood of 1913" I'm sure the misfit was around then.

    :p :p i just missed the 1913 flood.but i have seen it it higher than that,though :D
    in the late 50's,it was out of it's banks,and i was fishing north of moxahela(sp?) ave. around madison st. :D

  4. All joking aside I bet before dillion,and the dam's along the Muskingum it could be a mess down in lower Putnum,it did get high enough this time it spilled over into the canal and up onto 5th and Canal St

    if it was up on 5th street,that's gettin' up there :eek:
    the time i was talking was before dillon was built/completed.it flooded down there a few times between '13 and then.i lived on putnam,one block from the 6th street bridge at the time of the last one.used to investigate the old underground railroad tunnels that were still along the river at that time. :cool:
