looking around my house the cement walk is about 1/2in from the brick wall. looking for the best product to seal this crack. watched a couple U tubes not a hard repair[ my ankles still in a cast but I get around ok] gotta be some cement guys on here who,ve tried them all.

1/2" is a big crack to caulk. Once you land on what product you wanna use, look into using "backer rod" to fill the bottom of the crack so the caulk doesn't keep falling down into the crack. It'll save you from wasting a bunch of caulk and time!
It's like a round foam rope. You can push it into the crack with a putty knife.

Backer rod first then a self-leveling sealant. Needs to be something that stays flexible to move with the freeze-thaw conditions. We always used a product made by Ruscoe. Its manufactured in Akron. Always worked great.

I did mine this past fall. Silka Pro Select Concrete Repair for the smaller cracks in the expansion joints that are supposed to crack and self leveling Silkaflex for expansion joins that have lost their fillings over the years.
It’s January 29th and the caulk (both) has held up perfectly!
