West Branch... 5th

  1. Hit the slow end of the lake Saturday morning lookin for a few crappie. Found a nice bite on our 4th spot about noon. Not far from the really small island in knock downs along the shore.

    A nice 12 incher, a few between 10-12", maybe 15 fish total all returned. Minnie under bobber and whitish twister tail on jig head low and slow. Clouds helped with overcast and the mild mud line seemed to be a gathering point.

    Suprised. Didnt figure a crappie bite to be starting at high noon. Beautiful day out there.
