Was out at the end by the lighthouse for about 4 or 5 hours. Caught one sheepshead and no perch. Nobody else was catching any either. From what people were saying they should start catching jumbos in a month or two. I was catching some nice perch a couple years ago there in early July but i sure missed them this time.

I hear ya. Here over on the west side. Im gonna try our 55th street pier. No boat. I wish I knew where I could buy the minnows and get somone just to take me out on a saturday. Until then Im fishing from shore too. Luck to you.
