  1. Threw crappie minnows under a bobber at Delaware and Alum this morning..

Caught a pretty good mixed bag. 9 Crappies, 2 gills, and one Eye.
Thanks to the "fishintechnician", it was my most productive day bank fishing public water ways.

Water level was still high at both lakes, and most crappies where hitting deeper than normal. Still up in brush piles by shore gave me my most consistant catches.

Mananged to catch a 6-7 inch saugeye at Alum. later in the morning. Also broke off my line when I caught a decent cat fish at Delaware, didn't land him, but still got to fight him for a minute or two.

Alum was pretty quick fishing. Between the three of us, we probably caught around 20-30 crappies there in a short time. Maybe more. Size was an issue. Most around 6-7 inches or smaller.

In a few days the fishing should be on. The recent change in temp and rains have kinda thrown things for a loop in my opinion.

  2. If You Go Out Anymore At Delaware this Week Will You Let Us Know How the Crappie Fishing Is Going. Thanks
