Water To High To Fish *^&$#@*

Discussion in 'Southeast Ohio Fishing Reports' started by Sr.Jigger, Mar 21, 2008.

  1. These rains around my area have just put the (CRAPS) to any fishing. If it's not the high water then it's the water that is so muddy it's like brown oil. I'm going to hang up the rod for a couple weeks and see if things won't change. I've been shooting for Walleye or Saugeye and I'm just wore out. I've beat the water with bait until the water had fome on it, Hope you guys are having better luck. Better days are coming !!

Yeah when I left yesterday, Nelsonville looked like a big lake. There was rapids on Hocking Parkway..... I'm waiting for it to clear as well...

Sr.Jigger, have you been by Salt Fork? Was thinking of going for crappie near the North Salem ramp... What's the water look like? Freezer is empty, want enough for a good meal. Wife is willing to boat Sunday, thanks for any water info...
