walleye recipe

    i am looking for a recipe for walleye. me and my friend are cooking walleye tonight and this is the best place to find a recipe in my mind. who better to ask then seasoned fisherman and chefs.:p anyway i am looking for a recipe for fried walleyes. please be extremely detailed.

    check the general discussion area and look in the OGF kitchen forum. or you could just use some panko and fry it in canola oil till golden brown.:p

    Castmaster,

    What I do is simple. First remove the lateral line from the middle of you fish. Cut the fish into nice sized chunks. Then add olive oil to a pan at medium, medium low heat. Take you chunks dredge though flower, egg wash then panko crmbs ( Japanees style bread crums) and fry until golden brown on each side. Enjoy!!!
     
  4. dip em in egg then bread em with crushed ritz crackers and fry. nothin better and easier.
