To be honest with ya I have a hard time justifying driving accross town to saugeye fish that reservoir. The only saugeyes I catch are on jigs while crappie fishing. I spent quite a bit of time out there casting for crappies this last spring and if memmory serves me right I caught a grand total of 2 saugeyes. During the month of June I did make a couple of trips out there with the boat with the intent of trolling up a few saugeyes on crankbaits but all I could catch were undersized crappies. Not saying they're not in there I just haven't figured out how to catch em. As far as water level and clarity goes they have been pumping into it so the clarity isn't as good as it was a month ago (it was clear with probably 5 to 6' of visibility) but it is fishable.
