I moved to the Tiffin area last year and have fished some of the local reservoirs, but I haven't yet made it to the reservoirs in Upper. Looks like I'll have some time to go down there this weekend and I'm looking for a few tips, no honey holes or anything, but some help would be appreciated. Which of the two reservoirs is best for shore fishing? Is there any cover (sunken trees, stumps, etc.)? I'm probably going after bass but wouldn't mind crappie or gills, too. Thanks!

Plenty of down trees in the old and standing trees in the new. New is definitely the better water, but not as shore friendly. A lot of people bring waders to get out from the cat tails.

In the new reservoir. Both the south side near the pump station and on the north side near the beach are popular spots.
