Am still new to this and not much of a typist, will try not to be long winded. First, many thanks to Virgil Goodwine, Debbie Walters, Chris Rappenchuck, James Anthony, Jeremy, Polecat, Bill McNabb and the Sugarshackers, and 40+ others who made Phase I happen. A special nod to Terry Judy-a trully decisive force. We are preparing for Phase II, #15 the S breakwater of the Marina (60-4x15), and #18 the gravel bar just NW of the Marina (50-5x10 N and 60-6x10 S respectively). Besides providing spawning cover for yellow perch, these areas 10-15 ft deep and 30 ft offshore should do double duty for largemouth and crappies, plus bluegills and cats. Fishing the gravel bar will be possible, though waders or a willingness to get wet will be needed. As always will invite any and all to our every Sat night 9:30 meeting in the Marina by the Fuel Pier. Thanks and see you soon.
