1" short of the state record. As far as how old she was, I am not sure, but her belly was full.

I didn't weigh it, but the length was 17.5" You guys with your formulas might be able to tell me how much it was though.

That's a huge crappie. Biggest one I've ever seen was 18.5", out of Mosquito. I've caught a lot of 14-16"ers out of Mosquito, but I've never caught one 17 or better. It would be hard to give a weight guestimate without a girth measurement.

Congrats on the fish, it's a dandy.

  13. Now that's a trophy fish if I ever saw one. What were the conditions and methods?

  14. Nice one.man, I'm jealous. I've had very little success with Crappie this year. This spring I found one washed up on shore that was just over 17" d

  15. Now that's a nice one! Good Job Flash!

  16. Congrats, Flash! That's a great crappie.

Oh no, Ben got his taxidermy kit out again and painted up a bass to look like a crappie. LOL. Nice fish Ben!!

  18. I agree. It looks like something that belongs in a haunted house-considering we are in the season!

  19. I know where he caught it....and it's NOT West Branch. Too small....
