all, where the heck is this tweed lake?and what kind
of shoddy dam work was done that allows a beaver to chew down
a tree and poke hole in it :D .well maybe it didnt happen quite like
that.but anyone know exactly what happend.and what kind of fish were
found in the lake that were suppose to be ''to heavy to lift''?

  3. It's due west of Rex Lake not far from Portage Lakes State Park. Take Manchester Rd. to west on Swigart Rd, then west again on Vermillion Dr.. The lake is/was private.

No idea about the fish in the lake.

  4. The lake is private, for about 40 houses in a development. It is very closely watched. The dam was built circa 1928. The fish too big to lift were amurs. I have pictures but not sure how to post them......I'll try.....

Just out of curiosity, I went and found Tweed lake on Terraserver and looked at satellite photographs. Very little lake! The second pic with the house in it, is the extreme NW corner of the lake right? There looks to be about 20 houses on the lake.

i figured they were going to grass carp.

  7. Tweed is 8 acres. Definately less than 20 houses...10 maybe? No matter what they do to fix it, the fishing will never be the same.
