Tuscarawas tops in Muzzleloader season

  1. Tuscarawas County topped the list once again as hunters took 934 of the 20,659 deer claimed statewide during Ohio’s four-day muzzleloader season, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife.

    The season’s preliminary total is just shy of last year’s 21,473 deer taken during muzzleloader season.

    If you read my post in the lounge (50 years ago) you'll see how far the population has grown there were only 29 deer harvested in this area for the deer hunting season. I tried but didn't add to the ML total this year.

    Well there weren't even 29 in ottawa county today...
    Ottawa has killed only 123 deer this year total according to the dnr!
    They need to stock em or something lol :p
