Has anyone fished this along the towpath trail? Is it worth fishing, is it worth yakking?

If anyone has some good knowledge of this river WEST of the state route 224, interstate 77 North/South split shoot me a PM.

I'm wondering if it's possible to float this and do some smallie fishing....Basically from the long lake spillway WEST:confused:

I've kayaked from Long to the RR tressel by Highland Ave. in Barberton.
I wouldn't go any farther than that.
Malco has had several spills into the Tusc. Further on down is the PPG plant discharge from Columbia Lake which is polluted with chlorinated aromatic cmpds and other chemicals. Further on downriver is the Barberton poop plant.
I wouldn't put back in till I got to Canal Fulton.

for smallies I would look to kayak from Canal Fulton to Massillon.

  3. if you do go to the highland tressel look out for the refridgerator monster

Did anyone hear that the feed store in Canal Fulton collapsed this week from the little storm we had?
