Turtles and cats

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Shortdrift, Aug 9, 2004.

  1. Here is a picture of a snapper (turtle) that Froggy caught after I asked for help on catching a BIG SNAPPER,,, to all the horney barnrats (a turtle). :p He was plenty upset and was striking at anything close. Figured he weighed around eight pounds. We rebaited and this afternoon I found a nice channel cat had taken the bait. I'll try to get a picture of the channel also.

    Fishman Catch bait???

    He looks happy ;)

  4. The channel was a shade over 27" so I missed Fish Ohio again. :( Couldn't get a picture as it was too dark. The fish was hooked in the corner of the mouth and in perfect condition as he was put in the lake to control the bluegill population which he did quite well. :D Took him to a friends lake that needed some catfish to cut the bluegill population. Might bring him back in a couple years if needed. :)
