Combine tuna, mayonnaise, celery, salt and lemon-pepper; spread over muffin halves. Top each with a slice of pineapple and cheese. Broil 6 in. from the heat for 2 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned. Serve immediately.
And then of course
mix in a bowl put on bread and there you go
I haven't made these in a while and I normally eyeball the ingredients but I believe the measurements listed are fairly accurate:
3-4 cans of tuna
1 cup of shredded carrots
1/2 cup of chopped green onions
1/2 cup of chopped white onions
1/2 to full sleeve of crackers of your choice (I prefer Townhouse) Crushed
add paprika, salt, and pepper to taste (at least 1/2 tblsp each)
4-5 tblsp Butter
Mix tuna, carrots, onions, spices, and crackers. Add enough eggs to make mix stick together but not wet. Form into thin patties. Melt 1 tbsp butter in pan. Cook patties until golden. Butter will be soaked up after each patty so add butter as necessary to keep patties from sticking.
Tabasco mayonnaise goes great with these.
This is the only way i eat tuna. its simple and you can add other things if you'd like. First I get as much of the water out as possible. Then put it in a bowl and put onion powder on it so its covered. Mix it up, now it should be pretty dried out. Put a tablespoon or 2 of mayo in it, then put 2-3 tablespoons of sweet relish in it. And I always put some bbq chips or original chips in it and crush them up. And really you can add any other kind of veggie or whatever you like.
