  1. Finally got a chance to do some real fishing with Scott(SConner) today. Spent two hours in the Chilly GMR tossing lures and enjoying the sun. I ended up catching only one smallie about 12 or 13" on a blue-fox spinner. It didn't feel like it hit but more like I dragged through some weeds. After I set the hook it gave a little fight though.

Nice report Jim... a 12-13 inch smallie is better than a 0 inch nadda! :)

  3. Yep, it was nice not getting skunked. We went to the area you and I were at at the end of the day when you came up. There was some ice on the edges but the water was up a bit at least. The water actually felt okay until I hit crotch depth then it wasn't so nice anymore. I may try it again Xmas eve so I can hit the high notes singing carols.

Heheh.... nothing like winter wading... when you feel a lump in your throat (or two, I should say) it's not cause you're nervous. :)
