Trolling for hybrids

  1. My buddy and I took our 10 yr old boys hybrid fishing for the first time the other day. We trolled deep diving Gizz 3's. We had 7 keepers and probably that many short fish. Right at dark, my buddy hooks a good one that takes awhile to get to the boat. Turned out to be a flathead catfhish 8-10 lb. The boys had a blast and are asking when they can go again. Nothing like some drag pulling hybrids to get them hooked. Now my boy wants me to take him to Lake Cumberland for the real deal.

  2. Way to go Scott. Did those boys outfish you and your buddy?;)

  3. Thanks Dave. You know how it is, every fish hooked was fought by our boys.
