Trolling Buckeye

  1. Hey guys, Just wondering a couple of things after reading recent posts about trolling at Indian and especially Buckeye for soggys. Why do some of you let out so little line ie. 7-11 yds? It would seem to me that the more the better to a point and does anyone troll crawler harnesses at these lakes? thanks

  2. I have slow trolled and drifted crawler harnesses many times using a light weight bottom bouncer or lindy rig. cats, hybrid stripers and saugeyes all seem to like it. Also pulled in a few crappie and one largemouth. Usually have the best luck in the marsh area. May even head out there this afternoon if I can get out of this damnable office......

  3. I've been slayin channel cats and crappie off the marsh.Great fishing

  4. So little line because indian lake is shallow. We are usually only trolling water 5-8 ft deep. Also will depend on what crank you are trolling or how much weight on a harness.
