I wanna mount a transducer on the front of my boat. Do I mount it to the trolling motor? Will it pick up to much noise from it? Any suggestions will be appreciated. BTW I have a small 14' Tri haul Gamefisher.

  2. Most front transducers are mounted on the trolling motor. There are even specific transducers made for it. You shouldn't get any interference.

  3. A few years back I had an older extra humingbird ff. I just took the regular old transducer and mounted it to the trolling motor with a couple zip ties-worked great-no interference.
