Older brother Don passed away August 21, 2021 in Nashville. He was born in Brownie, Kentucky on February 1, 1937. Phil was born in 1939 and passed in 2014. "Cathy's Clown"..written by Don, their biggest selling record '60

This day in 1961 Patsy Cline begins recording the Willie Nelson written "Crazy". Patsy had recently been in a car wreck and was on crutches and had bruised (broken) ribs. In obvious pain, and not able to hit the high notes, the session was cancelled. She returns on September 15 to record the final version...in one take.

Favorite Chicago song of all time. Took my wife on our first date to a Chicago concert in Cincinnati 52 years ago. Been married for 49.(Uncle Sam got in the way for 2 years).They still put on a respectable show today,even still have the original horn section

Congrats to you and the missus. Girls I attended concerts with back in the day weren't quite wife material;) Come to think of it, neither was my first wife :LOL: The death of guitarist Terry Kath at such an early age was just a terrible loss. That whole 90 min "Tanglewood" show is available on yt. Amazing performance.
