This week's WKYC Outdoors Story

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Big Daddy, Jul 19, 2007.

  1. We've had a couple this week... The Roger Raglin boating accident, the Summit Lake alligator caught in Akron.

Here's the regular installment. It's the first of three segments on trolling basics with OGF member "Blue Dolphin" walleye pro and charter captain Gary Zart.

During outdoor show season, if you ever get the chance, go check out one of Gary's trolling seminars. Very informative.

Thanks Gary and Nicholas for the help with this.

Cool. Looking forward to the other two installments.

The spoon he held up at the end of the clip sure looked like Happy Hooker, not Sir Walleye, but maybe my monitor is on the blink.

  3. I didn't leave in all the info about ball bearing swivels, flourocarbon leaders, rods, reels and all that... Time constraints of mainstream media :) ... But I will try to get it in somewhere in the series..

Not sure on the color of the spoon... Gary would know better than me... Looked like a Ray's Detroit Tiger(I know, a different spoon maker), but I know VERY LITTLE about colors! LOL!!!

You go Gary short but sweet, can't wait to see the other ones.
  5. I'd second that happy hooker.

(Somehow that just doesn't sound right) :D
