Things your looking forward to this spring?

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by TritonBill, Mar 21, 2005.

  1. I'm anxious and waiting to get the fishing underway here! The lakes around me are nearly thawed and probably will be fishable this weekend.

Starting at the top of my list I'm ready to:

    1. take my kids to the pond to go fishing.
    2. hear the popping of the little bobber as it goes under with a big crappie.
    3. travel to Erie for some early season smallmouth fishing.
    4. get on any of the local lakes and catch a bass. Most likely portage will be first.
    5. get togethers with other OGF'ers...

How about the rest of you? Any specific plans for this spring?

  2. I just want to get out and fish, I havn't gotten out as much as I would like the last year or two. I've been working too much to go as much as I'd like

  4. mmm...beer. I like combining Presque Isle trips with drinking beer afterwards and then going back out the next day. It won't be but a few weeks!

I love staying at El Patio since you can walk across the street, eat wings and drink beer and be so close to the water!!

  5. 1 Take my kids fishing
    2 Take my kids camping
    3 Spring Gobbler hunting
4 Fish with and make some new OGF friends
5 Did I say Spring Gobbler hunting
6 Do some carp river fishing
7 Enjoy my kids and get out of this house!!!

  6. I would love to find time for these activities:

    1. Take my friends fishing more often
    2. Fish with my Dad and brother
    3. Fish with my brother's soon-to-be father-in-law (he's at Okeechobee right now, and a former guide there)
    4. Go to more open tournaments with Buzzman
    5. Fish as well as I did last year in my club tourneys
    6. Advance beoynd the regional at Indian Lake this year's Region 1 regional.
    7. And I guess I would fish with my sister if she finds the time (she has a state record in VA for flounder and might think I'm not worth her time).
