While Steelhead fishing in the Rocky River I stopped at one of the Fords. Was like fishing in a barrel.Catch a sucker every cast. :p :D

  2. We wee up there yesterday. What are you using for bait? Worms? We used spoons, spinners, and sacks. Didn't catch any suckers!(I don't doubt they are there! I've caught my share but usally in the slower pockets.) Only rolled one steelie all afternoon. Broke off....

Thanks for the update! THey are a BLAST to catch on light equipment up there. They will hit just about anything you throw at them. Worms, maggots, even small strips of leather. Might have to give that a shot this weekend if they aren't blown out.

  4. i have seen them to. They started about about a week and a half ago. They do not seem to hit the fresh trout spawn sacks I use.

  5. Yeah, there running out to buy lottery tickets! :p

  6. I use jigs with yellow marabou feathers and they cant resist them.

The old timers claim you can grind them up and make fish patties.Personally I think they taste like s--t.But some people like that taste.
