  1. We arrived on the lake at about 9 am and fished till about 300pm. We caught saugeye, gills, bass, sheeps and kept 13 real nice black crappie. It was hot and the water is 82 degrees and has that green cast color to the water but it is clear to about 11/2 ft.

All in all we had a pretty good day considering we were in Bob's brand new Bass Tracker and it was on it's first shake down cruise. every thing went well with just some small adjustments had to be made.

The so called "Dead Sea" is alive and well for those who know her and respect her.

The crappie were all caught on minnows in or about 12 fow. Some were open water and some were in structure. FISH ON
  2. Picture of the crappies and they were all males as far as we could tell.

  3. No doubt Taxicab, this lake has a honey hole or two. The pictures did not come through yet. Do know her, do respect her! She is a mysterious lady though..........

WE went out to CC on Saturday night and fished with lights for Crappie. The action was slow, but steady with 10-11'' Crappie being caught. Then, around 4 AM I caught this on a 12' Zebco Slab seeker with 6lb. test! What a fight!
