This should be of interest to those members who were so generous with their donations of canned goods and money for the Red Cross at the Tappan Lake get together at Cripple Creek Bait & Tackle this year.

"As Thanksgiving approaches, family and friends gather together to give thanks for their good fortune over the past year.
The Muskingum Lakes Chapter of the American Red Cross would like to take this opportunity to thank its family members and friends as well.
Hundreds of volunteers and members of our community have given their time, talents and generosity over the past year to help those in need. As a result, the Muskingum Lakes Chapter was able to provide disaster relief to over 350 victime of fire and severe weather, including the families whose homes were damaged by the floods that came through Carroll, Harrison and Tuscarawas counties.
With support from our many generous donors, we also held 2,478 CPR classes; taught 998 kids in swimming classes; gave out food to 1,117 families; transported 516 people to doctor and hospital appointments; and delivered 82 emergency military communication messages. We also taught your children how to swim, provided blood for your sick and injured family members and connected local military families with loved ones overseas.
It is your continuous commitment to providing help and support to other members of our community for which we at the Muskingum Lakes Chapter are so thankful.
Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving, and know that you have truly made a positive difference this year."
