Hey just wanted to ask for a little advice from you local boys. I'm heading to Tappan this weekend for my wife's familly reunion and I wondered if you guys could throw me a line on the flatheads. I've fished it once before, and got :S bigtime. I saw the pictures on the wall in the marina, so I know they gotta be in there, I'm just not familliar with the area. I'll be shore fishing, so anythhing you can send my way would be great. I'm only going to get one shot at it this year, so I'm looking for the big fight! Thanks!
  2. I have caught two flathead At Tappan and that was while Bass Fishing. Both of the came of the rocks along 250. Maybe try the community dock past the marina a little ways.

Find you a spot in one of the bays and try large live bluegill. The last bridge on RT. 250 (away from the dam) is a good place to start.
