Just got back from Tappan. Main launch ramp is open but high. Ramp by firehouse, water is still on road in spots but with 2 people you could launch there. Main lake is high still. There is water in the roadside park and the benches down by the dam are partially underwater. Water is pretty clear. 2 surprises while looking around. 1. A bright orange ball was in the sky. Scarry looking but welcome. 2. Spotted corn on the bottom. Followed it and found Crappielooker checking out the area. Introduced myself and took him a ride around the north end of the lake. He said the campground is open but soggy right now. They are calling for some rain tonight and tomorrow morning, but saturday looks good. Cloudy and high 79. See everyone there. Bob PS No corn, he was just wandering around checking things out.
