Tackle tool help

Discussion in 'Tackle Talk' started by Star1pup, Sep 9, 2005.

  1. I was recently given one of those tools that are used to bend wire for spinner baits, etc. It is an old Herter's, but Cabela's had one that looked just like it in their tackle making catalog last year. It sold for around $56.

There was no manual with the one I was given and I'll gladly pay for a copy of a manual for the Herter's or the one in Cabela's.

Dont know if it will help but Barlows (www. barlowstackle.com) has instructions in Adobe format for the Boggs tacklemaker. I can't imagine there is much difference between the Boggs and the Herters. Just click on MAKE YOUR OWN FISHING LURES - the instructions are at the bottom of the page. Hope this helps :D

  3. Thanks, Davey. I printed it out and it looks like the same thing.

Now, ya'all be careful at that Alamo thing. Although it looks like we will both be watching the Steelers tomorrow. :D
