The flows have slowed and cleared and the big smallies seem to have returned to their hiding places and elusive behavior. Still had a great day with plenty of fish to keep busy. Paddled 12 miles starting around 9:00. Paddled by a guy who pointed at my crank bait and said "that's an awfully big crank bait for out here!" Even the bluegill seemed to be into it though. Chrome/blue seemed to be their favorite.
