Hey all... down here in Dayton and thinking about driving up for chromes this fall. Haven't fished Erie for them in decades and asking for a little help in terms of
1) is there a fishery at creek mouths in the lake from a boat anymore?
2) when do they start up?
3) what rivers?
4) where's best place to launch n run to the mouths?
Thanx a bunch for any help anyone is willing to offer. I stopped fishing Erie when they stopped putting in the salmon and have been going up to Canada in Lake Huron for the past 10 years. This year am looking to stick a little closer to home for the trouties, not even wanting to go all the way over to Michigan (hurts just typing that name) :):D

Depending on the temps, you could see them come in the last week of September but most don't start trickling in until the first week of October. Night fish the mouths too if it is cool enough.
