  8. Last 2 games have been pretty physical, but the Steelers have outplayed the other teams and gotten the win. They are looking good right now, but the season isn't over.
New England is still playing good. I see a Pittsburgh-New England rematch for the AFC championship. I've noticed that Big Ben isn't looking as sharp as in the beginning of the season, but he is still a rookie. It's a good thing that he has a very good team around him. Unlike Eli Manning, it would be pretty interesting to see them go head to head on Saturday.

John Elway, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God
was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a
faded Broncos flag in the window.

"This house is yours for eternity, John," said God.
"This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here."

John felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house.
On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner.
It was a 3-story mansion with a Black and Gold sidewalk,
a 50 foot tall flagpole with an enormous Steeler logo flag,
and in every window, a Terrible towel.

John looked at God and said
"God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question.
I was an all-pro QB, I won 2 Super Bowls,
and I even went to the Hall of Fame."

God said "So what's your point John?"

"Well, why does Ben Roethlisberger get a better house than me?"

God chuckled, and said "John, that's not Ben's house, it's mine." :D

  13. Wasn't Pittsburgh 6-10 without Ben last year? Staley has helped but he was out for four or five games. Ben hasn't looked sharp at all lately, but is not throwing interceptions for TDS for the other team. So even though his stats aren't gaudy his team still has a chance to win. Eli's team was 5-4 when he took over!

Pittsburgh had nothing to do with making Eli look good. They didn't play poor, it's just Eli has decided to play some football. Hey, this is a very young guy who will be a good QB in the NFL. We saw today for the first time what he can do. 99% of all qb's have a rough start. Big Ben, is the exception, but he WILL have a bad stretch. The steelers better hope it's not playoff time. All the greats have had a bad stretch one time or the other, and Ben will have his.......... CATKING.
